Introduction

Why this documentation?

Why this documentation?

I have a love for structuring processes where I analyze how I/we have worked with a client, how we apporched a project, and then, later, analyzed what worked and what could be improved for the next time and the next client.

Everything matters when it comes to time, resources, workers, money, and many other factors and aspects, of course. Things may seem insignificant, but they are still important.

What I do believe is very important, is to always learn from my success. But, to also learn from my mistakes. In that way, I will grow not only as a UX/UI-designer, but also as a person.

I have had the opportunity to document how I have approached UX-reviews, site reviews, user tests, and interviews... some of which you can explore below.

There are several reasons for all these documents. One is for me and for my previous job's sake - in order to analyze what worked and so forth. It is also useful in being presented to future clients in order to increase their understanding and knowledge. And, finally, the documentation can be used to lead workshops and share my experience in-house with co-workers and others who are interested.

Disclaimer!
I have made some of my documentations anonymous, in order to not reveal clients' information/designs. My focus has been on how I approached and worked through the project.

Disclaimer!
I have made some of the documentations more anonymous, due to secretess towards client, but with a focus more on how I approached the project.

Site review process

A client needed a review of their site where they present their product - an event management tool/platform. The goal was to find key points where the site could be improved and suggest those to the client. LH+P had previously created and worked on the App, branding, content, and product for the same client.

UX-review process

A client needed a ux-review of their platform - a budget managment platform for businesses. My work process turned out to be effective, not only for the client and platform, but for my work place as well. I decided to document all of the steps of my process and shared it with the interns and co-workers at my design studio.

User test process

I conducted user tests for the client, Riksantikvarieämbetet. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I planned, structured, and scoped the setup for completely digital, accessible user tests, in compliance with the new restrictions. Since it was completely digital/online, I documented the process for the client and also presented it for my co-workers.

Interview process

A client asked LH+P to conduct interviews of stakeholders and future clients. I documented our work process in order to use similar setups for possible future projects and clients.
